Ok so summer is finally over! =D
It means Uni is back under way, my snowboard will be getting some use and in short, everything else that goes along with being back at uni.
Managed to get myself an awesome girlfriend and have even started off fairly well on the academic front.
Enjoying getting excessive amounts of alcohol into my system and heck, initiation should be awesome :) Hum… actually… OH SHIT INITIATION! :o

Quite glad to be able to say that LUSST is probably about to have its biggest year ever, and I just happen to be one of the teams 6 committee members who’s making it happen. Getting loads of promotional stuff ready has taken us an innumerable quantity of hours but has resulted in a booklet with a lot of info in it. The DVD is just a little bit more than awesome. Team holiday is planned and going to be open for bookings very soon. The poster to the left is just an example of the level we have made everything to.
Looking forward to freshers quite a bit now. Not just for the awesome party’s but the snow team might just have a lot of new members as were going to look absolutely pro. Plus the team hoody and T-shirts (which I get for free) look incredible. I think this counts as a SCORE!

Ok so when I get curious about things, I do a bit of rummaging to find out more. My Greek gods post for instance. I stumbled across the fact Zeus isn’t the oldest of the three brothers and then spent nearly an hour reading through Greek mythology. With no form of academic work to do, my brain is hungry!
The British commonwealth. Its a group of 54 countries the our good old Queen lady still has sovereignty over. To put it very bluntly, countries like Canada, Australia, India, etc are all still under British control.
However, reading into it a bit more I can now understand why I was taught at school that the empire was taken apart and dismantled. The commonwealth is in fact the group of countries that didn’t want to be independent of Britain. They have full control of their own country. Immigration, trade, foreign policies, etc are completely at their discretion and British powers NEVER intervene.
As the dismantlement was mainly happening in and around the world wars, these countries didn’t want to be left on their own if worst came to worst. Reasons like trade and the sharing of cultures are also meant to be important to the commonwealth.
Countries which were not former collonies have also joined the commonwealth. Mozambique and Rwanda are also now part of the commonwealth. Rwanda for instance only joined in 2009.
Alright here’s what I want you to do;
Lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles. Now, while doing this, draw the number “6″ in the air with your right hand.
